Word of the Week

“Persistence”

This week’s word of the week is on the value of persistence.

This saying is from Emerson or Thoreau who observed, “that which you persist in doing becomes easy, not that the nature of the task changes, but your ability to perform it increases.”

Let us this week remind ourselves that becoming a black belt is easy as are accomplishing most goals if we are persistent. We can be persistent in Karate by practicing our Karate and coming to class consistently. In school we can be persistent by keeping up with our class work and home work. At home we can be persistent about saying “yes sir and yes ma am,” to Mom and Dad at home and complete our chores on time without be told.
