Dear Mr. Ruano:

We wanted to take some time to express our appreciation for the quality experience Robert has received at your training center in the past 8 months. Prior to signing up last January, we had checked out a few other places. After interviewing with you and seeing the facility, Robert stated, “I want to take karate here”. His enthusiasm was exciting, as back at that time, Robert was often more shy, and clearly he felt comfortable with you and your staff. He did not even want to wait until the next class we had anticipated attending, but came back the next day, eager to be a part of the experience.

We have observed each class in which he has participated and have often marveled at the balance of structure and positive reinforcement the students receive. As child and adolescent therapists, we are sensitive to environments, experiences, and people that children, particularly ours, encounter. A person’s resiliency in life, beginning in childhood, can be linked to the network of relationships built, to knowing that others care about them. It is clear that you and your staff take time to know and consider your students as individuals, team and community members. We have watched your staff work with each students abilities, building on strengths, reinforcing characteristics that build physical, mental and emotional growth. For Robert specifically, we have seen improved confidence, self discipline, and leadership. You continue to tap into his potential, to build his focus, foster his confidence, and support his development.

Thank you for investing in Robert, your community and the enhancement of others. We look forward to our continuing relationship and are grateful for the service you provide. The benefits of participating in your center are obvious to us and we gladly share these with others.
